Designing an outdoor kitchen with 3-D software used to mean having a CAD program, typically used by experienced landscape architects. Today, SketchUp, and other software has made it easier than ever to design your outdoor kitchen.
At Fire Farm, we recently entered all of our modular cabinets with corresponding stainless steel grills and accessories into SketchUp. By doing so, we typically turn around a 3-d design for a customer within a day. Here is a scan of a drawing a dealer from Rhode Island recently sent us.
We then turned it into the 3-D sketch shown here:
Clearly, if you are going to spend the time and money to install an outdoor kitchen, getting a 3-D sketch will not only help you envision your final product, but it can also be used by the contractor as a road-map. So, if you need help designing your outdoor kitchen, give Stone Farm a call at 203-270-2900, email us at OutdoorKitchens@thefirefarm.com.
Or simply fill out this form — by answering a few questions on the outdoor kitchen you desire, and supplying us with a sketch like the one above, we can get you a 3-D drawing. Hopefully, you’ll consider using our Stone Age modular panel & bracket system to build the base of your masonry kitchen and order stainless through us, but it’s OK if you don’t.
Good luck and happy cooking!
